Project name: Drives and traction batteries for 7,5m battery midibuses ROŠERO FIRST ELECTRIC

Year of implementation: 2011 onwards

Project Description: Sub-supply of more than 15 complete drives and battery packs for 8m battery midibuses. During the long-term cooperation with Rosero, various lithium battery kits were gradually developed and several body types were fitted in total. Currently, midibuses are most commonly fitted with traction battery technology based on 18650 format roller cells, which maximises the stored energy on the vehicle and allows the replacement of cell capacity while maintaining the module design to offer realistic ranges of 150-250 km/charge.

Scope of delivery: design, selection and construction of electric drive components; design and construction of battery modules and enclosures including selection of appropriate chemistry and lithium cell design; homologation of the final solution; provision of regular service to customers throughout Europe
